About

Where did the Jewish sense of personal responsibility for Tikkun Olam/Healing The World come from? What wisdom can we glean from ancient perspectives? How can we best apply these values to our lives today? No experience necessary. All are welcome.

This is one class in a 16-class series called Access Judaism, intentionally designed by Rabbi Heather Miller. Taken together, classes feature a broad spectrum of Jewish subjects in the realm of history, rituals, culture, philosophy, law, and spirituality. These classes, which include post-class reflection questions and responses, can also count towards requirements for conversion or adult B'nai mitzvah.

“Rabbi Miller has a great sense of humor, and you can tell she really loves sharing her knowledge.”

“She involves her students so it’s not a lecture format, and we were encouraged to ask questions or insert comments as the evening went along. She makes everyone comfortable in her presence and allows time for all of us to learn a little about the others in the group.”

"Rabbi Miller made these wise and learned people viable for me, allowing me to connect on a more personal level with each one. I loved my experience with Rabbi Miller and am looking forward to more learning opportunities with her. She's a wonderful teacher."

No expereince necessary. All are welcome!

All classes are FREE. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

If you'd like to contribute the suggested donation of $25/class, $180/ 8-class session, or $300 for the entire 16-class Access Judaism course,
