Do you want to explore Jewish heritage, traditions and wisdom? Do you want to feel empowered in your spirituality? I founded Keeping It Sacred as the place to do that, and you are welcome here. Our acronym, KITS, honors my beloved grandmother, Fruma Kit Endler, who died at the age of 100 this past June.
Here, you can become a member of the community by subscribing to the newsletter which shares the latest information on all of our programming -- consider this your official invitation to all that we offer.
Did I mention that we are committed to providing accessible experiences, so our programs are free. Meaningful donations of any amount by those who value this concept are most welcome and appreciated- it’s what fuels the work.
All are welcome. That means you, your Jewish and non -Jewish friends, and family. Everyone who would like to participate in the exploration of ancient Jewish texts and rituals made relevant today, anyone wanting to benefit from the wisdom of the ancient sacred wisdom.
Please invite them!

About
KITS Wedding Workshops
Mazal Tov on your engagement! You’re about to take your relationship to the next level and that is something to celebrate! You’re ready to plan a succinct but meaningful ceremony that feels authentic to your relationship and that also doesn’t alienate any of your guests. But where do you begin and how do you bring it all together? Now is the time to take a breath as you look to plan the perfect wedding that launches your marriage into the best future possible.
Join us for one, some, or all of these 9 workshops that will help you and your partner find ways to keep the sacred at the center of all that you’re doing. Rabbi Heather Miller leads these classes in a fun, interactive, and open way. She brings 13 years of professional expertise with interfaith, queer, intercultural, international and interdenominational couples to discussions, and will, on occasion, share how she and her wife of 9 years (together 19 years!) have found ways to keep their relationship fresh, inspired, and growing deeper every day.
All classes are Sundays at 11:30am PT/ 2:30pm ET over zoom:
1/9 Keeping Your Partner at the Center
1/16 Finding a Time & Place & Officiant for Your Wedding
1/23 Honoring Your Loved Ones in the Ceremony
1/30 Making Your Wedding Accessible
2/6 Wedding Planning Workshop
2/13 Infusing a Sense of the Sacred into the Ceremony
2/20 Including Various Cultural Traditions

OR if you prefer, Wednesdays at 7pm PT/10pm ET:
1/19 Keeping Your Partner at the Center

And please note: Keeping It Sacred programs are free for all because we uphold the value of keruv/accessibility; voluntary financial contributions to help offset the cost of these programs are greatly appreciated. No expereince necessary. All are welcome! Invite your friends and other couples who are engaged or planning to become so!
“Rabbi Miller has a great sense of humor, and you can tell she really loves sharing her knowledge.”
“She involves her students so it’s not a lecture format, and we were encouraged to ask questions or insert comments as the evening went along. She makes everyone comfortable in her presence and allows time for all of us to learn a little about the others in the group.”
"Weddings are a series of choices, and you are are best one. We are so grateful to have found you to lead us through this process."
