Joyful and Inclusive Ceremonies
Congratulations and mazal tov on your upcoming wedding! Do you envision a wedding ceremony that celebrates your love and commitment, and radiates with sacredness, authenticity and joy? Not a one-size-fits-all ceremony, but a ceremony that truly reflects the spirituality of your relationship and inspires your loved ones?
Rabbi Miller brings a warm, open, and down-to-earth approach to create a ceremony that is accessible to both Jews and non-Jews alike and reflects who you are by customizing elements like faith language, ceremony length, and participants. Find out what people are saying about Rabbi Miller below and learn more about her here.
A note from Rabbi Miller:
Weddings that reflect and Celebrate Who You Are
No two couples are alike. When I work with couples to create their perfect wedding ceremony, my greatest joy is for you to feel empowered and happy knowing that everything that happens at the ceremony was thought out with love and authentically reflects the two of you (whether formal or informal, religious language or not, etc.). At the heart of the ceremony, I incorporate elements that are meaningful to both of you and celebrate your relationship in a deep way. I joyfully officiate at gay, straight, dual-Jewish and interfaith marriages, as well as vow renewal ceremonies. And I believe you do not need to have length to have meaning.
Preparing for Marriage Beyond the Ceremony
We plan the ceremony together, but I also help you prepare for your new life together that is to follow. I offer you my experience coaching many couples -- plus humor, honesty, and respect for you no matter what your story is. I listen deeply as we discuss many important topics like faith, family, finances, fighting fairly, guarding your relationship from outside experiences, and nurturing your relationship from within. All of this takes place within five sessions over zoom.
An Invitation
Please feel welcome to contact me (at rabbimiller@keepingitsacred or 818-312-8388 ) to discuss how we can craft your wedding. I would love to guide you in this awesome process based on who you are.

You rocked the ceremony. We could not have dreamed up a better Rabbi to marry us. And we absolutely loved your extremely personal charge to us. It was clear that you had really gotten to know us before the ceremony. And that’s where we are even more grateful. You were so generous with your time, and incredibly patient with us and insightful. You made it easy for us to trust you and then open up about our deepest and most personal feelings, thoughts and emotions. You know more about us than anyone. And your sage advice will undoubtedly make us a better couple. We feel blessed/lucky to have met you, prepared with you and ultimately to have you marry us. It was truly the best day of our lives and you were a significant reason for that. We hope this is not the end but the beginning of our relationship. Again, thank you sooooo much for everything. You are an amazing Rabbi and an even better person."
"We got back from our honeymoon last Saturday and have been getting reacquainted with day to day life living as married people! I've been meaning to write to you and tell you how much I appreciate you and everything that you did for us. You really went above and beyond for us and our families! People are still talking about how beautiful our ceremony was, how true to us as a couple it felt, and how inclusive it was. Everyone told me how awesome you are. I had a friend who told me that she loved the feeling of community that you brought into the ceremony. Multiple members of our bridal party told us how amazing you were during the rehearsal, how well you explained everything, and how you made everyone feel included. My mom loved you (so did my dad!), she went on and on about how warm and lovely you are, how well spoken you are, and how magical our ceremony was. John's {name changed for privacy} parents loved you as well and loved the whole ceremony. They felt so included even though they aren't Jewish. Seriously, it couldn't have gone better. You're so good at what you do, you have have found your true calling, your dharma, and the world is a better place because of it."
"We wanted to thank you for being such an integral part of our wedding. Your speech was beautiful and captured so well the feeling of our relationship. I heard so many wonderful things said about you from all our friends and family. You are a beautiful speaker and your warmth and spirit resonated with everyone in attendance. I am so grateful that we found you. The sessions that we spent together were so helpful and fun. We looked forward to all of them. We are so lucky to have gotten to spend time with you in planning the wedding. You have become not only our rabbi, but our friend too."
"We married in an intimate setting in our home. Pictures perfectly capture our love and happiest day. Rabbi Heather's enthusiasm and smile is as bright as ours. We appreciated her personal focus, taking time to help us create a unique same-sex, interfaith, ceremony. Family and friends were touched by her warm, caring spirit. Our magical day was more special because of Rabbi Heather. "
"I can't tell you how much our ceremony meant to us. You made it so special. Everyone was so moved by the ceremony and touched by your words. I kid you not, my friend is claiming she wants to convert now. Both my sister-in-law and sister want you to marry them and I hope my children can grow up with you as their rabbi. You put so much effort and love into our marriage and I will never forget it. Your special words to us were so true and on point. Thank you so much for the advice and the support! We love you!!"
"Thank you for the most perfect ceremony ever-- I loved it so much!"
"Rabbi Heather did such an amazing job for our daughter's wedding. She was so personable and loving during the ketubah and wedding ceremony. She really captured the essence of both my daughter and son-in-law in her speech. Everyone was commenting on how lovely the service was. We were thrilled in every way. I would highly recommend her."
"As we've reflected on our wedding day, we continue to marvel at how lucky we feel that you officiated. Thank you so much for everything you did to craft a ceremony that exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. We are so grateful that you took the time to know us as individuals and as a couple and to reflect that in your charge."
"When I got engaged, I was ecstatic at the thought of marrying my best friend. Then the reality set in and all the planning seemed really daunting. My husband is Jewish and I was brought up Catholic so I wasn't sure how we would be able to find a way to honor both our religious backgrounds during out wedding ceremony. By chance, I found Rabbi Heather on an interfaith marriage site and she was so incredible! She was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and became an incredible partner through the months leading up to the big day. She was always such a great listener and she provided us the opportunity to talk through some important topics before taking on marriage. By the time we got to the big day, we trusted that Rabbi Heather would help make our big day even more memorable."
"Thank you for being the rockstar rabbi of our dreams! You are now officially the favorite rabbi of everyone who came to the wedding and us! You helped make our day so special and you helped us embrace the traditions for ourselves. Thank you for everything that you've done for us."
"You officiated at the wedding of our daughter and new son in law this weekend. It was so hectic and such a whirlwind that I never got a chance to thank you. The service was so lovely, it was just perfect and seemed so 'them'. Your energy and your beautiful smile seemed to embody the love and joy we were all feeling. It was very special to have you there and I wanted to make sure that I let you know how much we all appreciated you. Thanks so much."
"Thanks again for everything you did for us. Couldn't have asked for someone better to be at our wedding. It was truly an honor to have you there and meet with you over the weeks prior to the wedding. We will definitely keep in touch and make sure to get together."
"Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding so special! Our friends and family loved the tone and content of our ceremony (and Ketubah signing). Thank you for providing the structure of the program, the spirituality and warmth of your comments and notes, and a great and safe place for us to meet with you and discuss our marriage, leading up to the big day."
"We just wanted to reach out and thank you so much for a wonderful ceremony! You really knocked it out of the park. We are so thankful that you were part our love story we couldn’t imagine a better Rabbi marrying us. All of our friends and family could not stop raving about what an amazing job you did and a couple even saying “your vows were great, but the rabbi made the wedding.” The entire process was amazing, every talk felt like chatting with a friend. You are so kind and genuine - a real joy to partner with. You really helped set us up for success for our wedding day. So, thank you once again for an amazing experience.”
"I just want to thank you again so much!!!! Not only am I so glad to have met you and shared this experience with you, I have gotten so many compliments on how kind and amazing you did! You have such a wonderful energy to you. I cannot thank you enough!!!"
"Weddings are a series of choices, and you are are best one. We are so grateful to have found you to lead us through this process."
"Unlike any other officiant that I have worked with, you created a holy space for the bride and groom and their family. For me as a wedding coordinator, it was unique and special to witness.”
Working with Rabbi Miller was so wonderful! She spent thoughtful time with us in the year leading up to our wedding to get to know us better and to help us create the ceremony that fit us best. Her energy is infectious and every single guest at our wedding commented on how wonderful she led our ketubah signing and ceremony! I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family who are looking for an open minded and warm hearted, and incredibly thoughtful rabbi to officiate their wedding!!
