Do you want to explore Jewish heritage, traditions and wisdom? Do you want to feel empowered in your spirituality? I founded Keeping It Sacred as the place to do that, and you are welcome here. Our acronym, KITS, honors my beloved grandmother, Fruma Kit Endler, who died at the age of 100 this past June.
Here, you can become a member of the community by subscribing to the newsletter which shares the latest information on all of our programming -- consider this your official invitation to all that we offer.
Did I mention that we are committed to providing accessible experiences, so our programs are free. Meaningful donations of any amount by those who value this concept are most welcome and appreciated- it’s what fuels the work.
All are welcome. That means you, your Jewish and non -Jewish friends, and family. Everyone who would like to participate in the exploration of ancient Jewish texts and rituals made relevant today, anyone wanting to benefit from the wisdom of the ancient sacred wisdom.
Please invite them!

About
Moses was not the only one who married someone who was not Jewish. Learn about the history of this practice and how it is viewed today. Learn from Rabbi Miller who is the product of an intermarriage, has a HUGE interfaith family, and who wrote her thesis on the decision on intermarriage in the 1844 Rabbinical Convention in Germany. This history is FASCINATING. No experience necessary. All are welcome.
This is one class in a 16-class series called Access Judaism, intentionally designed by Rabbi Heather Miller. Taken together, classes feature a broad spectrum of Jewish subjects in the realm of history, rituals, culture, philosophy, law, and spirituality. These classes, which include post-class reflection questions and responses, can also count towards requirements for conversion or adult B'nai mitzvah.
“Rabbi Miller has a great sense of humor, and you can tell she really loves sharing her knowledge.”
“She involves her students so it’s not a lecture format, and we were encouraged to ask questions or insert comments as the evening went along. She makes everyone comfortable in her presence and allows time for all of us to learn a little about the others in the group.”
"Rabbi Miller made these wise and learned people viable for me, allowing me to connect on a more personal level with each one. I loved my experience with Rabbi Miller and am looking forward to more learning opportunities with her. She's a wonderful teacher."
No expereince necessary. All are welcome!
All classes are FREE. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
