Keeping It Sacred brings you this important program on end of life needs. Expert Karen Morin, founder of LA Patient Advocates will share information about palliative care, hospice care, and other considerations such as feeding tubes, antibiotics, dementia, voluntarily stopping eating and drinking, and medical aid in dying/death with dignity.  This is your life and your voice is important. Attend to help understand more about choices available.

Karen Morin, RN is founder of LA Patient Advocates, a patient advocate and End of Life consulting group in Los Angeles.

An Oncology and Hospice RN, Karen held clinical nursing positions on an AIDS Care unit and the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and has extensive experience as a home hospice nurse.  While at weSPARK Cancer Support Center she served as the Oncology Resource Nurse and facilitated metastatic and caregiver support groups at the center in Sherman Oaks, and presently serves on their Board of Directors.

Keeping It Sacred programs are FREE for all because we uphold the value of keruv/accessibility; voluntary financial contributions to help offset the cost of these programs are greatly appreciated. No experience necessary. All are welcome!
