Sharing Our Light

Newsletter December 30th, 2024 Together, we're #keepingitsacred...

Last week, I wrote about how we are each navigating the darkness alone... and together. In this way, we are uplifting each other with our light.

And, this whole Hanukkah week, we have shared light from our members around the world as they have kindled their menorahs -- from Wales to Arizona, from England to Los Angeles, from North Carolina to Ohio, France to Georgia. See the videos on our Instagram page HERE.

In the 16th century on the Iberian Peninsula, Rabbi Bachya Ibn Pakuda said, "a little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness." And if this saying holds true, then a lot of light must dispel a lot of darkness. And this past year, 2024, we, at Keeping It Sacred, brought in a LOT of light!

I am so proud to present you with the 2024 Annual Report HERE. 

Across the pages, you will find moments of joy and uplift, times of depth and compassion, interactions promoting exploration and connection. Times that we have made sacred together. 

Each of the pages in the report show how we are each a candle on the menorah-- shining apart from one another, safely at a distance not to burn one another down, but also each connected through the menorah and the light of shamas (the helper candle that lights the others). Our light is bright, and our light is shared. 

Celebrating and magnifying one another's light. That's how we're making a difference for ourselves and one another. That's how we're keeping it sacred.
