Do you want to explore Jewish heritage, traditions and wisdom? Do you want to feel empowered in your spirituality? I founded Keeping It Sacred as the place to do that, and you are welcome here. Our acronym, KITS, honors my beloved grandmother, Fruma Kit Endler, who died at the age of 100 this past June.
Here, you can become a member of the community by subscribing to the newsletter which shares the latest information on all of our programming -- consider this your official invitation to all that we offer.

Did I mention that we are committed to providing accessible experiences, so our programs are free. Meaningful donations of any amount by those who value this concept are most welcome and appreciated- it’s what fuels the work.
All are welcome. That means you, your Jewish and non -Jewish friends, and family. Everyone who would like to participate in the exploration of ancient Jewish texts and rituals made relevant today, anyone wanting to benefit from the wisdom of the ancient sacred wisdom.
Please invite them!

WELCOME TO OUR PROGRESSIVE, JOYFUL, JEWISH COMMUNITY-
Welcome to Keeping It Sacred!

OUR SIXTH BIRTHDAY!
August 17, 2026
"525,600 minutes…how do you measure, measure a year?”
As we know, these are famous lyrics from the Rent song, Seasons of Love. And the song encourages us each to count our time carefully, even cherishing every minute we have on this planet.
This week (on Shabbat!) our community turns 6 years old officially! And that’s a lot of minutes— over 3 million! And in all of that time we have been showing up for one another to make a positive difference. Our time together counts— and it counts for something big and good!
Tell My Creator
August 10, 2026
“My what an ugly man you are!”
And he retorted, “why don’t you tell my Creator, ‘what an ugly creation this is!’”
No, this was not a clip from a 1980s comedy. It was a scene from the 1800 year old book called the Babylonian Talmud. Obviously the retort made clear that no one should insult the humanity of another. This is the kind of information a person should learn an internalise in an elementary school.
